THABA TSWENI LODGE

FACILITIES

Thaba Tsweni lodge situated in the Drakensberg Mountains and the Blyde River Canyon area, consists of fully equipped luxury self-catering chalets, where a full South African breakfast and/or dinner, can be arranged to your preferences with prior notice. Restaurants are also in abundance in the area. 

The chalets cater for two, four, or six people respectively, are in peaceful surroundings on the farm Berlyn in the Blyde River Canyon.

Each chalet has its own private garden with barbeque facilities and is in easy walking distance of the Berlyn Waterfalls, a South African National Monument. 

LIST OF CHALET FACILITIES. 

* All chalets have fully equipped kitchens including microwaves.

* Bathrooms are en-suite with large baths and separate standing showers.

* All chalets have their own private garden, with barbeque facilities and secure  parking.

* Television with DSTV satellite is standard, to receive our local channels.

* All chalets are serviced daily.

* Laundry is done on request at a nominal extra charge.

* Chalets have both lounge and dining room areas with wood burning fireplaces. 

LIST OF LODGE SERVICES 

* All guests’ vehicles are cleaned on request.

* Wood for the fireplaces and barbeque are provided daily.

* Exclusive use of the lodge’s library of books is available to resident guests.

   Subjects available are history, nature, wildlife, anthropology, ethnology and travel.

* A wide variety of leisure and adventure activities are available in the Blyde River  

   Canyon and surrounding area. We can arrange your participation in these activities

   From the lodge or preferably on doing your reservation.
